DIY Facial Masks/Treatments

Here are a 3 great  face treatments/masks that can be made with fresh ingredients found at home! Give them a whirl you’ll love them!!!! (Use them once or twice a week depending on your skin type and problem)

Cucumber Mask: This mask will help reduce redness and soothe any irritation.

  • Grate 1 cucumber and combine with 1 tablespoons of plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of fresh cranberries (smashed)
  • Mix the ingredients together to create a paste
  • Apply mask to any red areas on your face,neck or chest.
  • Wait 5-10 minutes then rinse with warm water thoroughly and then moisturize.

Papaya Facial: This mask will brighten up your complexion and give your skin a radiant glow.

  • Combine 3 tablespoons of mashed papaya with 2 tablespoons mashed banana, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 tablespoon coconut water and 1 tablespoon plain yogurt.
  • Stir mixture until it becomes a thick consistency, then chill in the fridge for an hour
  • Smooth mask over clean skin
  • After 5 minutes rinse with cool water

Pumpkin Treatment: This treatment will help you unclog pores to prevent those hideous zits!

  • Combine 1 tablespoon canned pumpkin puree with 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon flour and 1 egg.
  • Using a fork, beat the mix until it is smooth in consistency.
  • Smooth a thin layer onto clean dry skin (avoid eye area) and leave for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
